![]() I started skipping a huge number of the sidequests about halfway through. And I was, without having played multiplayer (well, one short round, which added one or two percent to my multiplier), fairly close to that 5000 points. Without playing any multiplayer that score is automatically cut in half, and the best ending requires 5000 points. Of course it's easy to get more than 5000 TOTAL military strength, but that score is multiplied by the galactic readiness level. The multiplayer is, plain and simple, a more fun way and more efficient way to get those points. I started completely skipping the "find this and go back to the Citadel" quests about halfway through.īottom line: If you are willing to do all the shitty sidequests after every mission, you'll get over 5000. I ended the game around 4500, at 22 hours played, and no multiplayer. ![]() If you do that, you can get over 5000 without the multiplayer.Īnd "doing everything and only getting 3000 something" must be bullshit. He also said that after every priority mission, he went to every galaxy and scanned everything and turned in those side quests. I'm 99.5% certain that Jeff explicitly stated getting a lot more than 5000 without touching the multiplayer. For those who have played and gotten 5,000 in EMS (without multiplayer), can I make it? And if I can't, then what could I have missed in terms of content along my playthrough? Should I have rescanned every planet even though they have been sitting at 100%? Help me, brothers and said: Maybe I am just mis-remembering, but I thought Jeff said his final EMS was 6700 without multiplayer? I have a feeling that I can't drum up 2,000 in War Assets in the next couple of hours before the endgame comes, but I'm not entirely sure. I know there aren't many more War Asset-acquiring missions left, and I have scanned all planets and turned in nearly every sidequest, as well as aligned both the Geth and the Quarians. As the title suggests, I have just finished Thessia, and my Effective Military Strength is sitting at a cool 3,000. So, now on my second playthrough, I am churning out War Assets left and right, turning things in, doing everything I can to reach the 5,000 marker for EMS to see the "true" Destroy ending. My EMS was at 1900, and I got a very terrible ending. My first playthrough, as I always do with Mass Effect, was a rush job.
